"Rīgas satiksme" to change schedules and location of public transport stops as of December 1
On the initiative of local schools, workday schedule of bus route No. 16 will be changed to make schoolchildren’s return home after lessons in the afternoon more convenient.

Also from December 1 bus route No. 28 will have its schedule changed to provide a more convenient service to passengers with more opportunities of transfer to other routes.

The local government of Mārupe district has opened several new, improved bus stops – Svētes Street, kindergarten „Lienīte” and Skulte stadium. Following this initiative of Mārupe district, the location and names of bus stops in bus routes No. 10, 25 and 43 will change. Bus stop Upeslīči, which is now located on routes No. 10 and 25 on the way to Riga, will be transferred to new bus stop Svētes Street, but bus stop Upeslīči on the way to Mārupe will change name to Svētes Street. On bus route 25, existing bus stop Vējotnes Street on the way to Riga will be transferred to the new kindergarten „Lienīte” stop, but bus stop Vējotnes Street on the way to Mārupe will change name to kindergarten „Lienīte”. On bus route No. 43, bus stop Stadium will be renamed to Skulte stadium and moved to new bus stop platforms. On bus routes No. 10 and 25, bus stop Mārupe rural municipality board (in both directions) will change name to Mārupe district council. The new bus stops are fully equipped and provide safe boarding and drop-off of passengers.
As of December 1, workday schedules of bus routes No. 10, 25 and 55 on workdays will be changed and harmonised to make them more convenient for passengers, but the holiday schedule of bus route No. 10 will be just slightly amended. The number of runs will remain unchanged.

As of December 1 minor changes will be made on bus route No. 43 on both workdays and holidays. They will only apply to departure times from stops between terminals; departure times from terminals will remain unchanged.
As of December 1 bus No. 9 will run in the built extension of the overpass of G.Zemgala gatve, as the organisation of traffic on this route prevents the bus from returning to its previous route. Rīgas satiksme informs about two new bus stops to be opened on the way to the city centre, 3rd cross-line and Rusova Street. Workday and holiday schedules of bus route No. 9 will be also changed, accordingly.

As of December 1, workday schedules of bus routes No. 12, 23 and 26 on workdays will be changed and harmonised to make them more convenient for passengers. The number of runs will not change.

Minor changes will be made in the workday schedule of trolleybus route No. 16, according to the specifics of this route. The number of runs will not change.
Trolleybus route No. 16
On December 1 small changes will be made in schedules of trolleybus routes No. 11, 12 and 22. They will only apply to departure times from stops between terminals; departure times from terminals will remain unchanged.
Following proposals from residents of Stopiņi district and Saulīši, small changes have been also made in the schedule of bus route No. 34.
